not sure what I should do now...
-I've been everywhere
-marked the door (sometimes by bashing)
-copied 3 documents: love letter, accound ledger, mechanist plan
-but have not heard from any of my fellow thieves after I disabled the camera's...:( It appears that i have the same problem..
i'm running around pointlessly, or perhaps there could be
another document other than the three mentioned before? or did i miss something? need help!

You either have a bad gen.osm file or your timed relays got corrupted by a loaded save. You could just wait for the patch. Either way, you will need to start over.

I just started playing this masterpiece and I guess it will take me 3 months to play it. Very hard not getting caught or spotted! If only the quickload would be quick!
Great job and thx for x!

Mike F: Considering you just started playing this masterpiece, you may want to hold off on getting any farther. There's a patch coming out for this mission (I don't know when, but it seems like it should be soon):)

but still one pickpocket missing, dont know where.
Nope, you got them all. 14 of 14.
(Thief 2 always shows one possible pickpocket more than there really is)
Digital Nightfall on 30/9/2008 at 16:34
I admit, I don't remember how many pickpockets there should be, but I am surprised this hasn't been reported before. Has anyone managed to get all 15? I'll try to check soon, if I have time. :erg:
Update on the patch: There's one outstanding issue with the timed relay plot elements (Stone's progression) as reported by the patch testers, but other than that it looks like the thing is ready to go. I am waiting for a fix to that from Yametha, who is currently in a hotel in Bangkok, but still working on the patch when she has time.

Here I am, poking around after 10 hours and 15 mintues (about half of that is combing every cubic inch of the mission I could think of for loot), and I miss exactly
500 more than you do. How the heck is that possible? :p There is no place I know exists that I have not been to. I have managed to open every room and locked container I have encountered, I am quite sure I have all the loot pieces mentioned in this thread. Any ideas what I could have missed since it´s so much?
(Ahem.)
It´s possible if the player is semi-blind
I had missed three pieces that I have now found - two of them were quite valuable.
Now I only miss 5 loot overall. :D
I suspect there is one of those copper coin stacks hidden away somewhere in a dark place. They are hard to see if it´s dark. I think I´ll go and search the crawlspace system and the Guard´s quarters in the basement more thoroughly...
@242: If you miss 20 loot, I think you have missed a purple goblet on a windowsill
in the hallway south of the lobby. That one is well hidden, almost completely behind a curtain. Then we both probably miss the same evil '5 loot item'...

Okay, the patch is
tentatively done. I am currently uploading several hundred megs of stuff so that all versions can be tested out before the official release.
*clears throat*
<strike>I need volunteers!</strike> I got the help that I needed... thank you!
The sooner a fair number of people get the patch and the patched full archive download and played and confirmed to be working properly, the sooner we can do the official release. The uploads won't be done for several hours, but in the mean time, please get in touch with me so I can send you the download links right away.
I'd like casual players as well as experienced testers... and especially anyone who had buggy experiences the first time though.
<hr>
I edited this post rather than making a new one because I didn't want to bump this thread.
Just a quick note to inform this thread that the patch has been released, the first post has been updated, and a new thread has started here ... (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1774712) ... along with the walkthrough, lootlist, dev trivia, lexicon, and album.
The new thread will hopefully not be 20 pages of bug reports!
