I cannot continue now.
The moment Steel's "accident" occurs, The game dies and Windows closes it. Tried it a couple more times and it's the same.

well I've just finished
shuting down the cameras and I was told to stay around
, only that I've been through most of the place, listened to
the looping conversation between the three main characters
and I haven't been contacted for any new tasks. must I do the secondary objectives as well before getting a new task? is this a bug just like Emerald Wolf had?
I'm in the same situation as Xenith. I chose the
turn off the cameras
objective. Finsished it and was told to hold tight. Got the objective to stay in Ivory Rose until further orders.
I've got two optional objectives:
Mark mistresses door (did that one)
Find any documents to copy
I've been around a lot of places but can't say firmly I've explored everywhere. Is this just a matter of waiting a certain period of time, or do I need to do something to trigger the plot?
Also, something else. In one instance of the game that I ended up reloading, I got a message from the other guy in the team telling me
he finished his job early and was leaving me his extra equipment in the storeroom (he was doing the elevator)
However, I got caught in that instance of the game and reloaded to the current line of saves I am doing now. In THIS game, I never got such a message from the other operative. Is that what is holding things up?
Playing on "Expert"
Thanks.

maybe it would do us well to have a troubleshooting page in the legacy troubleshooting area or something...

I guess I'm a bit confused now and my initial happiness for the objectives has gone away..
I was exicted when I saw "there will be no forced playing styles" - but then I get into the mission and I cant be seen by anyone, I cant set off any alarms and I'm not allowed to knock anyone out - all on the lowest difficulty.
I'd call that being forced to ghost? :erg:

The Black Box Issue
There are two kinds of Black Box Issue. One has a light gem and shields. One does not.
If you have a light gem and shields - Scripts
You are experiencing a script problem. Please attempt to copy the scripts over.
If you have no light gem and shields - Videos
You are experiencing a video problem. This has happened before, but regretfully I personally was not involved in fixing it, so I can't tell you what was done. In the mean time, please play the 'nomovies' version, and you can watch the moves before and after by downloading a separate package. If you download the DivX version, start with 'Briefing' and finish with 'MeetingWithSheam'.
We deeply apologise for any disappointment this has caused, and hope that this in no way will diminish your love for the Ivory Rose Casino and Gentlemen's Club.

KittyKat - It's not that key, that's a different key. You've passed the other key already.
SneakyJack - I suppose it might be seen that way. No alarms, and not being seen by 2 specific people (Antonette is friendly, she doesn't mind if she sees you).
Did you know you can knock people out by using the sap on unhelmeted people, or using the poison, then stabbing someone (anyone actually, it works on everyone)?

Well I am playing on "Expert", and so far you only need "ghost" around a few of the main characters and their bodyguards. Everything else is fair game except you can't let someone press an alarm button.

FYI, A patch is being considered that will bypass the 'other agents stop doing things' bug. No ETA yet though, but we do have an idea of how to fix it.
