Occasionally I sometimes find a guy wandering the streets in Thief3 that has what looks like a backpack/knapsack on his back that has the loot glint which means I can steal it. It's just called a courier sack and I'm wondering .. .who is this courier? What's inside the backpack? Who are the valuables going to? This time I found the courier guy wandering around twice in the game. What's the story behind him. . .this is just one of those little things you start wondering about the game, I guess.
Also, the artwork. .the paintings and such that hang on the walls of the buildings you infiltrate throughout the game. . are they portraits of people in particular, like some of the game developers? I swear, there's a portrait in the Wieldstrom Museum that looks like it could be of a modern day techie guy. .

Not very observant of me, I never noticed the "courier sack", but then I found the game way to easy to get loot so I restricted myself to only stealing from people who really "deserved" it... heh.
As for the pics, I wouldn't be surprised. I only hate it in game when it's glaringly obvious that this is the case. It's immersion breaking. Otherwise I guess its kinda cool. Like the ending credits of Thief 2 :) They all looked very mysterious :) Very very cool.

John P. posted a jpeg of all the portraits of the developers, but due to bandwidth costs, he took it down. I don't know if there's a copy floating around here or not.

If you install the editor, you see that the image files are named after the developer ... they are all in there, including spector, randy smith, eric brosius etc.

Gawd Almighty, you have about a 33% chance of naming the right developer if you guess him on any picture in the game. Even the girls. He's everywhere.
Terri and Randy are in several missions, but I don't think I've ever seen them out in the city anywhere. Airshaft is in several missions. Nate is in a couple. I think Eric is only in a couple of missions. Josh is in a bunch of missions. There's a couple different girls that are in quite a few missions, but I forget their names right now.
I thought it was a nice touch. Certainly creative, nearly into the realm of caricatures.
