Cradle. Dear God... - by mol

It's a shame about the fact that you don't see what happens to Garrett if he dies in the Cradle. If you got killed in a Borg ship while in Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force, it showed you getting assimilated, which was kind of cool. I'd really like it if something similar was done with the Cradle - showing whatever grizzly fate awaited a cradle-capped Garrett.

Zombie Garrett would kick ass.

Heh, runs around stealing from the other inmates. A journal is lying around, written by a doctor about leaving certain cabinets lightly locked so that he can unlock 'em and steal the contents to make him happy and complacent. As a punishment, taking away his lockpicks.

I am a very experienced gamer (almost 20 years) and I've played many, many games...but when I entered the Shalebridge Cradle I knew that it was going to be..."different". I was on edge for almost the whole time on that map. When I entered the main part of the Cradle and I saw movement in the distance, I was like, "Oh $hit, what the helll is that???"
I got so into playing T3: Deadly Shadows that for a while I kept having dreams that I was in some mansion, sneaking around and trying to break into rooms.

It kinda stays with you, doesn't it? I STILL have dreams about abandoned mansions and I finished T3 months ago. :wot:

I cant wait to see how the FM makers will fare with their missions. There are several scray T2 FMs. None, however, are like the Cradle.

I have played TDS over many times.
The Cradle still makes me shiver.Even knowing what will happen it still seems new.Especially playing it at night. It would be great to have a
Fan Mission similar.Although I doubt any could compare.I just love it.:ebil:

Just finished T: DS for the first time a few days ago. Yes, Cradle scared the **** out of me, but it was mainly because of the audio. I thought the "residents" were kinda funny, especially when they went all twitchy.
For me, I thought the statues were much scarier - especially when they were talking...
[Edit - Btw, I went into that mission with NO holy water. I didn't know I needed 'em. Don't know if it would have helped much or not anyway. Land mines work pretty well. :) ]
