When I first got to the door in the Outer Cradle, I bolted back down the stairs and hid in a little alcove, and had to take a break and pace around the house for a little while, trying to work up the nerve to go back.
Hmm, I don't know they both get my adrenaline going. I've just started to replay TG and I'm already dreading RTTHC. I was actually contemplating wimping out and doing the 'wedge the door open with a skull' trick only to find out that they'd "fixed" that in TG.
*Sigh* It seems that I must be brave despite myself.
That is EXACTLY what I tried to do

I Remember at first ,when I just came through blue fog and entered the first room, there was "something" warming itself beside the fireplace. In true rambo manner I drew down on "it" with a fire arrow.Did`nt even phase "it".This thing move on me so fast, that I barely made it up the ladder into the attic.2 clicks from death ,I drank what I had while my new "friend"waited at the bottom of the ladder.
I also remember thinking
"He´s gone now,but this attic is pretty safe. Will spend some time here.":D

Why not? The abandoned Old Quarter in T1 had electricity.

Actually, they might have been there, just not yet definitely splintered from the Hammerites.
I replayed the cradle yesterday.
I discovered more things about it that were more creepy than before.
Right I've activated the power and started Laurel talking.
I go I'm gonna take another look from the outside now the lights are on.
The grating has come down on the door.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I'm locked in with these "Puppets".
Ok I'm just gonna go forwards into inner cradle.
Whoosh puppet runs from left past the desk.
Ok....
Was expecting that.
At least There on the other side of the doors. I try the door it's not even locked.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Run into the attic.
The "Watcher" Puppet is smearing blood onto the paintings.
Ok I never noticed how they move and twitch like there on a string,The Cradles String.
Holy water ready take down.
The level went on but the worst bit is after you are not playing it.
When your trying to sleep and you imagine that the half open door near your bed will be rammed open by a twitching madman. To scared to look but to scared to look away.
I know :laff: I just would have been a lot less twitchy if you could turn the dang things off after getting the gate open :p
