You know what would have been a great addition to the cradle?
If the Insane patients all spoke in a screaming scary voice regarding themselves and thier own particular insanity! Like the one that nails birds to the wall, imagine you hiding in the shadows with her it walking past gibbering on about "Here birdy birdy, then I stabs it and nails it to the wall! O Birdie you can fly now, Wohahahah Wohahah, Tweety Tweety why you stopped moving" Something along those lines... And then imagine if you could "ease the suffering" by carrying out certain missions in the cradel to help them leave the craddle? Or if it goes wrong they are released from he craddle onto the city streets... Just my thoughts....
interesting concept vampthief. it would probably work as an fm if anyone decides to make one. "back to the cradle" would be one of it's names:)

o-kay...
Still, it might work, but the Voice Acting would have to be just perfect for it to seem good and not just detract from the experience. Acting an insane person is very difficult as to make it seem real and not just comical.

Acting of some insane persons indeed looks comical to sane observers, but it's rather a product of torment rather than patient's comedial intentions.

Of course, proper, deep insanity has that unnearving effect on you, you dont know whether to laugh or be scared.
