Not sure if this would be better in FM discussion since missions are talked about there, but here goes nothing.
Well I found my Thief Gold disks (yay!) and decided to do another playthrough of the OMs before losing control of my life to FMs. I'm on Cragscleft, in the offices where you find the note about Nammon having stolen the evidence. There is a banner that you can slash to reveal 3 wine bottles, but more importantly there is a not-so-secret door in the wall.
I can't find the button/lever to open this door. Where might it be?

I'm almost certain it's blocked on Hard too.

Aw crap, there goes my theory right out the window of how more areas in Thief are accessible on the harder difficulties....
Unless..is the area beyond the secret door accessible at all from some other method of ingress on the harder difficulties? That maybe the secret door offered a quicker/easier means of achieving a goal on the lower difficulty(-ies)?

yes, areas that simplify things may be blocked off on higher difficulties.

Well at least I know what it is now. I was thinking it was a secret loot area. Thanks!

Guess I'll just use this as a general questions thread since this section is so slow.
Just finished Return to the Cathedral, and I noticed something odd. I could pick up the Hammerite Shades as though they were corpses, even though they were aware and attacking me. I'd hear their footsteps around me while carrying them. It even gave me the "corpse" carrying icon. When I put them down, they appeared halfway through the floor and slowly made their way back up. Their attacks didn't function, though they performed the animation. I could still pick them up again. It was good fun dropping them in inaccessible places, but I'm wondering if this is a known bug, or if my installation is mucked up.

Err... how might I do this?
Also, another glitch. Trickster's ritual pattern is messed up. He goes to the same pillar twice, then goes to another one and says nothing, just wobbles his hands around, then faces the wrong direction when activating the Eye. Still worked, though.
