Crap FM: A long way down Dec. 16/06 - by smithpd

I think there is nothing crappy about this FM. So, does it lose? I may vote for it anyway. That would make my vote crap. Just deserts, I say.:)
I got through it once fairly easily on Normal with about half the loot. Then I started trying to find all the loot, and that is where the fun began! There are a lot of terrific route finding puzzles here that you can bypass if you are just going down. I managed to find my way back to the starting point. That was much more challenging than going down. If this is ever converted to a "full sized" FM, then it might be interesting to have an objective in Expert skill to go down and then get back up.:) Some loot objectives might also add to the game play.
I am missing 65 loot now. I think I know where some or all of it may be.
There is an open window opposite the starting point. The window is in a gray stone building that overhangs a big drop. I can jump on top of the window, but I see no apparent way to get inside the room below. I see a pair of white dice on the table.
Has anyone made it inside that room? If so, how?

I tried that already, but that passage does not work for me. First of all, the
metal passage I can find in the area (it has a ramp at the beginning) is southeast from the window, not southwest. Then, the only routes I can successfully take in that metal passage are to go down, which takes me to the brick courtyard with the dead guy.
I have an alternate route to that passage:
I can jump mantle to the ledge, with no damage, starting from the opposite area with the lamp post and the generator.
With some effort, using that route, I carried three crates over there
trying to make a route upward at two of the junctions in the metal passage, but I failed at both. Stacking crates in there is awkward and does not get me high enough to enter an upward branch.
So, how do you go up, or am I missing something?

Yeah, sorry for the wrong direction/information. and for the rest
i got the top via Dromed
oops... :o the crates: in game i tried the same with same results. two last key that i found but dunno where to use them , didn't find locked doors !!!

remember, the FM doesnt have to make sense
but anyways, i agree, this mission has pretty well-designed architecture, nice effort for a short LOTP-style mission, doesnt seem to belong in this contest...

A few things. I think the crap part of this is subtle achictectural (sp) flaws. (Giant windows, parially unlocked doors, upside down lantern, the stairs next to the drunk, floating chairs, things underneath the tables etc)
After I was done, it started to play Kidnap. Weird. Other wise, I completly missed everything hidden in this mission.
And for the key find the lockbox.
