I used to play TDS on an old computer, and it ran with no problems whatsoever. I don't know the specs on that old system, but now I'm playing it on a 2GHz Pentium M, with 1 Gig of RAM and an nVidia GeForce Go 6600.
Previously, I never had any crash errors. On the new computer, it crashes...every time, without exception...when I enter Terces Courtyard. I've tried downloading MrWynd's saved games and entering Terces on a different day, but it makes no difference. When I enter Terces Courtyard, I get a blue-screen with data on it for a split second, and then my whole system reboots itself.
Given that I have to pass in and around that area twice to meet Artemis, and again to enter the clocktower, it's going to be a /real/ pain to have to work around this seemingly glitchy area with downloaded saved games. Has this happened to anybody? Is there any way to fix this?

Yeah, a known bug with at least Geforce 6600 cards. I had it, too. Try searching/upgrading or downgrading your drivers/installing omega drivers (don't have the link, sorry: search).
I have no idea why this isn't in the FAQ.

I had a bit of trouble with the Omega Drivers auto-installer, but after I plugged the drivers in manually, it worked perfectly. I just had a stroll around Terces five minutes ago, and no problems whatsoever. Thank you! :)
