Today I finally bought Deus Ex. This DVD box edition seems to be patched. And there's an annoying difference to the demo version: when I want to duck, I have to keep pushing the button, or else I'll stand up again. In the demo, the button used to toggle between crouching and standing.
I've looked into user.ini and both for the demo and the final version it just says "x=duck". Is there anything I can do?

I can't. I thought there were two entries in the demo: one for ducking and one for staying crouched, but the full version has only one option. (German version, BTW).

...but did you notice that you are subject to a massive distortion of view when you are crouching? If, for example, you go to Smuggler's upstairs to his mirror - closet and crouch before it... you end up staring at your stomach! I can only assume JC has some kind of holographic projector installed so he appears taller than he is when crouched, or then his eyes have a nasty habit of falling out of his head from time to time... ;)
