Well to be perfectly honest last time they did have full support no one bought the game because "it required a rig from a fucking moon" to run.

I do recall that you could get all the graphical features of crysis running in dx9, and that they were only locked out from the menu to sell vista.
It is still a bit funny, since the gpu on the xbox runs with a higher featureset above dx9.
Also, most people have no idea what the actual shaderfunctionality is in the different shader models, but they have no problem crying foul each time some number isn't mentioned.

Other than a big chunk of the marketing being about all the cool shit that DX10/11 let them do in their engine, no. And the lack of any advanced graphical options is pretty shitty, too.

I care <3 There's only "Gamer" "Enthusiast" and "Hardcore" presets. No settings for you.
I played a bit of it today and meh. Too hectic for my tastes. The suit? Well, that's a great selling point but whatever. Other than cloak, it has little impact on the gameplay - press armor mode when you're getting shot, can you remember that? Not likely.
And the controls didn't really agree with me. I used the suit menu instead of hotkeys, and sometimes it had real trouble registering mouse movement for some reason. And you need to tap the jump button for one milisecond, no longer, or you automatically go into power jump.
Spriting saps your energy... right.

Oh yeah, some more stuff: you can enable aim assist in the menu, in fact it's on by default; the FOV is console-ish, I dunno the exact value and can't be changed in the menu; and I never played Crysis MP but in Crysis 2 it's max 8v8 I believe. In case you didn't know dear reader, there are also killstreak rewards, CoD style, complete with bullshit like gunships. In fact the MP reminds me hugely of CoP, guns are very accuracte and everything dies almost instantly if it's not in the armor mode.
Oh, and my own footsteps confused the fuck out of me. They seemed to come from all around me all the time.
