(
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHHwfywyccg) Publicity stunt. Pretty cool that they pulled it off... talk about going for mass-market appeal, though :p. I wonder how illegal they were actually being, or whether they were just playing up the police presence.

Apparently it's only using DX9 at the moment... hopefully they'll add 11 soon
(or not, what do I care?)

They nailed it with the title - Crysis, as in crysis in the FPS genre. I'll go play some Shadow Warrior now, it's so damn gooood.

Jesus Christ, it's bad enough when regulars pull that shit, drive-by trolls needn't do it too.

So, is it any good?
well, for a different perspective, I hate Cod, hate hate hate, but I really enjoyed playing the Crysis2 demo, even thinking about getting the game.

I don't see what it has in common with CoD more than any other FPS. They both have high production-values and are set in the modern day?
Koki on 23/3/2011 at 13:12
Well since he said demo I assumed he was talking about the multiplayer.

So you're saying it's like CoD because there are ranks?
Ok.
On the topic of ranks in multiplayer games: I hate that shit. Especially in Red Dead Redemption. When you're playing as a noob and get the drop on some lvl60 dude, you might
think you're about to get an easy kill, but NOPE! You start shooting the guy in the back, he notices something is buzzing at him from behind(is that a fly?). Then he turns around and fires one bullet at you. You die. He just keeps on running like nothing's happened. If someone has played the game long enough to attain lvl60 he's already much better at the game than everyone who hasn't played it for that long. That he should get superpowered weapons and stats as well is just fucking crazy. It's like a handicap-system, but in reverse. Make it easier for the seasoned players and harder for the noobs.
Really, who thinks this shit is a good idea?
I can't say that it bothered me in the Crysis 2 demo though, but maybe that's because everyone was a noob at it when I played it some weeks ago.
