BLAME IT ON THE CONSOLE DEVELOPMENT LIKE THIEF DEADLY SHADOWS AND DX: INVIS. WAR!!! :nono:
Just kidding. I think this is really sad though. Crytek were, at one time, my favorite new up-and-coming PC exclusive developer. I marveled at their dedication to not only the platform, but supporting their products for months and months after release, being the first to jump on the AMD-64 bandwagon with their awesome exclusive texture pack, and further cementing themselves in the PC Hall of Fame with Crysis focusing on Multi-core/Direct X 10 focused development while still allowing the XP users to have gorgeous optimized visuals too.
This demo? Worse than their laughably botched (

Oh well, chalk that one up to inexperience. It was their first public release other than the X-Isle tech demo that turned into FarCry.
Well guys, it is only a demo. It is (in my opinion) gonna be focused on getting console players' money first and foremost. It won't get fixed. It is probably killing them inside that the market has changed so much since FarCry that they can't do what they do best anymore. I bet a 360 MP demo wouldn't have these issues...

CoD with stealth mode. Which only changes one thing - you have to remember to check nanovision every couple of seconds.

No indication of whether you are running DX11 or DX9 nor any other options to tweak graphics settings.

(

Apparently it's only using DX9 at the moment... hopefully they'll add 11 soon
(or not, what do I care?)

They nailed it with the title - Crysis, as in crysis in the FPS genre. I'll go play some Shadow Warrior now, it's so damn gooood.

Jesus Christ, it's bad enough when regulars pull that shit, drive-by trolls needn't do it too.

well, for a different perspective, I hate Cod, hate hate hate, but I really enjoyed playing the Crysis2 demo, even thinking about getting the game.

I don't see what it has in common with CoD more than any other FPS. They both have high production-values and are set in the modern day?

Well since he said demo I assumed he was talking about the multiplayer.
