Not much sense anymore in buying new videocards or CPUs before new gen consoles are released, as it seems that PC exclusive AAA games totally vanished.
Coming from biggest STALKER fanboy on TTLG, this really hurts :(

The first game was rubbish(nothing but eyecandy with flat gamelay) What makes them think that the second one will be good?

I'm not a huge Crysis fan, but there's more to the game than its detractors admit. It allows for a fair range of different approaches and rewards experimenting with different play-styles due to the suit you're wearing.

Well you mostly use stealth because otherwise enemies spot you and shoot tons of ammo at you even if it means cutting down the trees and leafs that hide you
completely. Also the suit seems to run on rechargeable 9 volt batteries seeing as energy runs out in a blink of an eye.
My point is that you can't really do all the cool stuff you think you'd be able to do, like super-jumping 3 times then stealth-mode behind an enemy, killing him and repeat, because you can only jump 2 times out of 3 and... the end. So sure I can decide whether to shoot a guy from some obscure high rock (because I can jump there... most of the time...), or shoot him from some obscure rock on the beach, but I won't get any closer to him or get rid of him in any real other way because it would mean way to much work, way to many ways of failing and not really that fun in the end.
I agree that the game is just eye-candy since it kind of falls short on... well everything else (and even so, they have the most horrible shadowing system I have ever seen in a game that demands an arm, a leg and a kidney to run on a pc at a reasonable frame rate).

Oh, if you have the suit's blueprints do share. I'd love to know more about energy management of portable dynamic optical camouflage.

I don't like sharing. :tsktsk:

Totally dude, it really sucks that can't we mod the gameplay variables. FFS, it doesn't even support simple script editi... oh wait.

It's not real life military hardware, dude, it's a game and giving you a bit of room to play with your abilities would make it more fun.
For reference (just for you) go play Deus Ex. Watch how the 'dynamic optical camouflage' drains power.
And the jumpy legs, strength, and all the other augs that Crysis borrowed.

Considering how stealth mode is already overpowered: No.

I could just switch god-mode on, that's why I bought the game in the first place.

It's overpowered because the AI is crap so... yeah.
