Or you have no clue whatsoever about the extent of piracy. But, since you guys post here often that means you know the actual fact, yeah that must be it. "I need no arguments, just because i say so makes it a fact whic no indisputable evidence can change"

My point exactly! Oh, and this exact quote in the beginning was posted before and we had a discussion about weither piracy is to blaim for things not working as intended.

Maybe it's two different things. They already have a game engine for PC, so they just want to throw something together quickly to make some extra cash or something. This sounds more like an expansion pack then a sequel anyway. In the meantime, another studio is working on the engine for consoles and on the real sequel.

I like this quote:-
said Cevat Yerli, CEO and President of Crytek. “That being said, one of the key principles of our studio is to always raise the bar. With Warhead, we are focusing on refining our storytelling and game performance, while also delivering more of the visually stunning graphics and immersive, free-roaming gameplay everyone loved in Crysis.”
So reading between the lines, they're admitting that their game engine is an unoptimised POS?
Boxart seems to suggest that they might be using Windows Live for the multiplayer, which would at least eliminate a lot of the rampant cheating that killed the first game's MP. But Live opens up a whole new cans of worms that upsets PC gamers.

Guys, why are the hate on Crysis? It was a great game with a great engine. How many of you actually played it?

Fucking bullshit game. Its key selling point is the pretty graphics. Other than that it's basically FarCry. And that one wasn't very good either.

i played. i liked it. not something very special but a fun game. the linear end and arcade alien shootout on deck was miserable. but all in all it's not enough to boost your graphics and make everything destructable. it was stable for me and I never experienced weird AI glitches you can see on youtube. but then again, I loved FarCry as well and that game had a better story, or better: presentation (how about those apples) than crysis with their hollywood script writer squad. But in the end it what disappointing and did already look during its advertising run like it won't be that special......island....baddies...aliens.....we had that before, haven't we ?
FarCry2 will hopefully be what Crysis should have been.

i would say so too.
but i would not compare Crytek to GSC, our
russian friends
Error. :p
Ontopic: If Crytek is going to make Crysis multiplatfrm it will lose its MAIN attractions - advanced graphics and huge open spaces.
