yeah dropping stuff on the table did turn out a bit buggy, I think I should have done that differently a lock & key type approach perhaps, sorry hope it didn't spoil things too much

Nah - I left the diary on - or above ;) - the desk, walked to the east gate and ended the mission manually. No big deal.
Oh, and one thing I liked in the mission were the guards who would notice the lights had been turned off and would switch them back on. You don't see that in missions too often. :)
Esme on 31/8/2010 at 10:09
well you can partly thank the testing team for the lights, they thought the mansion was a bit on the easy side, so I tried making it a little trickier for them :ebil:
apologies again for the table thing, it was my first mission and I was under time pressure with the contest deadline or I'd have thought a bit harder about that

What a great mission! I must have mistook this Bafford for the fm remake that features skeletons and zombies, which I played plenty of times, and thus skipped right past it!

thank you, it's nice to know people are still having fun with this

12 years later I´m having fun with it! :laff: Very nice little mission! My favourite part was the having to shoot a rope arrow from the attic to the well! Such a cool idea! When I was in the attic I was wondering how there´s nothing there. Then I went to the well and realized I cant shoot the rope arrow from there. So I went back to town and circled the town house while starring at the walls of the surrounding buildings and noticed the open attic window, which I left open. And then I thought "woah! Damn cool idea! :cheeky:"
The only thing I have to complain about are the too many keys. There´s no need for a key for doors you already opened with your lockpicks.

I'm quite enjoying your trip through the FM back catalogue, Samantha. It's given me an opportunity to revisit some absolute classics. Cheers!

i jst replayed this one also, dont remember it at all,i got all the way into bafford with no silver lockpick and no blackjack omg the police station as brutal, ended up checkingboard and saw i missed silver lockpick at start then saw i can get blackjack from that asap :P
best part of mission was finding 2 dewdrops one in jail cell and one in art gallery, yes it frobable but you have to get close on both of them
and yes the keys were a bit to late by the time you get them, also i never had to go into attic to make the rope arrow shot,i just got on balcony area, closed door a tiny bit got on door top and shot over and over till i hit well wood :P
and to get passed the mechbot in front of gallery was a simple flash bomb, then 2 water arrows in back by then the alarm sounded bomb blew open door ran passed camera, waited till it reset, then shut it off with bashing door with sword,as i did not find lock pick at start at that point lol
i hate the tile in police station, some of the most sensative guards ever
best part of mission was in gallery reading all the placks for paintings omg too funny
this mission is not worth spoilers tags

I'm glad people are still having fun with this one, there are a fair few issues with it that could do with fixing, sorry it was my first real mission, it had a deadline & there were a few things I didn't know how to do, still don't tbh, maybe one day I'll pick up dromed & have another look, I wouldn't have finished it at all if it hadn't been for the sterling efforts of the beta test team, eternal thanks to them
Re the police station, there are several moss arrows lying around, but if you get through without them, much kudos, I wouldn't like to try it
Also I probably should have added something in the drug ledger to suggest the watch might not be too happy with the owner of it if they knew of it's existence
They think he's an ordinary citizen until they see that

Haha that´s nice to hear Purgator, at least my comments don´t go unnoticed like this! :cheeky:
Downwinder, I also find it funny how you replay every mission I comment on :laff:
@Esme: I got through the police station without moss arrows! :D Sneaking around is always my favourite! ;)
