Armory key
take look in the captain's room
Sticky Fingers on 20/9/2008 at 13:24
Thanx, fibanocci, but I can't get in there either.
Frankly, I'm about to chuck this one away. The 4 other CTEC missions I've played have ranged from very good to brilliant, but this is just a frustrating grind. :nono: I just want to get out of this d**n watchhouse & hope that Bafford's place is worthwhile.
EDIT: Sorry about the tone of this post - been a long time since I've let frustration with an FM get on top of me. And, of course, I should have cooled down before posting.
But I really could use some help finding the key for the Captain's Room.
Thanx.

the Captain's Room. You're not going to like this but
the key to the Captain's room is on the key rack by the guard at the reception counter. If you have the blackjack it should be no problem. If you are ghosting, you can turn off the lights in there, nudge the guard and reach the keys.

Is there a BJ anywhere in this map? I really don't like killing everyone.
Tannar on 20/9/2008 at 18:32
Yes, right where you enter the mission in the town square there is a locked portcullis that you can open. You'll find it upstairs.

Thank-You, Tannar :D - particularly for the BJ clue. Should have asked where that was in the first place (opened that gate right near the start, but just didn't see the ladder :o )
Ghosting that watchhouse was wearing me down - now I can get that key.
And dent some skulls... (although Lightingline had a good idea too :ebil: )

You're quite welcome. I find myself doing the same thing sometimes with a new mission, especially when I don't have all the equipment at the start. I have to keep reminding myself to slow down, explore, don't assume things etc. If I take my own advice I invariably find what I need or find the way to proceed and I end up enjoying the mission much more this way.
