Very challenging mission. You'll like it.

Okay, I can get along without a sword if I have to, but I'm curious... I just got the walkthrough for CotR and one of the first things it says to do is "Look to your left. There is a locked door here. Open it with your sword or with a hammer from the first open house..." but but but I don't *have* a sword (whimper) am I missing something?

I've been hunting all over the damn hideout trying to find the necromancer so I can waste his ass. All I find is this weird looking dude in the boss lady's room, and every time I kill him, even with the fancy sword I got by crossing the abyss, I get the death head and the notice that it was an unnecessary killing. I also was unable to find another way to get rid of Constantine, unless it was to drop him in the huge pit where the sword was. What's the deal with the body parts, anyway? And what happens if you shoot the lantern guard with an arrow? So, friends, if you have the wisdom to answer these minor questions, I will appreciate it.

You had the right idea with Constantine, though I find it easier to dump him in the disposal near the kitchen. The weird guy is just a weird guy, treat him like you would a weird guy. To find the necromancer, you'll need the body parts. You should find another area where the body parts can be given a proper burial; a door will open once this is done.

I thought I was close to the end when I retrieved Saint Edgars Sword, thinking it was the Spirit Stone. Now I have no where to go. The sword allowed me to kill the haunts, but I'm supposed to kill everybody and that hasn't been acomplished yet either.
So I'm guessing there is a continuation somewhere that I missed. Can anyone tell me where the Spirit Stone is?

Well, I've found the Spirit Stone. But I apparently haven't killed everyone yet. And I've gone over the whole map looking for whoever I missed. Plus I don't understand this sewer comment for leaving the fortress. Lots of puddles around, but no sewer.
So the question now is....where is this sewer exit? The only place that could possibly be involved is a passageway at the bottom of a well located in a top section only accessable by one way elevator. And that well passageway is obstructed by iron bars. No switch that I could find.
Am I missing something ??

This is more or less to keep the thread around the top so people will be aware of my problem.
One of the objectives is to kill ALL cult members. I'm assuming anything that walks is therefore killable, and I even offed the three haunts, using St Edgar's Sword. I ran around lifting the casualties to make sure they were "corpses" and not "unconscious". Two exceptions : Lady Katrina simply says Lady Katrina and not whether she is dead or unconscious, and the same for her friend Robert.
Now I must be missing an entire section which contains heretofore unkilled cult members and the access to the sewers for my escape. But where is it ???

push push push.......keeping this thread alive by myself. Is there an etiqette saying I shouldn't be doing this?

Did you put Constantine's body in the incinerator of the kitchen?
Did you put Lady Katrina in the water of the bathtub so that it's supposed to be for an incident?
Did you kill Robert?
The exit is indeed in the top of the elevator and it'll be necessary to dive into the water of the well.

Thanks for responding Lady Jo.
Constantine's body was deposited into the incinerator.
I didn't put Lady Katrina into the bathtub, and will do so right away.
I think I killed Robert, but when I pick him up, all it says is "Robert" .Not whether he is unconscious or dead. Either way I'll chuck him into the incinerator for good measure.
I THOUGHT that water well was important ! But its gated shut a short ways and I can't go anywhere. But maybe those bars disappear when I dispose of Lady Katrina and Robert.
If this works I'll post another thank you.
