Sister's of Mercy song reminded of The 69 Eyes song Sister of Charity. Sounds like they were influenced by them. Lesser viewed song posted.
Ha ha wtf is this? It's like Peter Steele's weedy brother was kidnapped and indoctrinated by Carl McCoy and Andrew Eldritch.

A lesser heard Type O Negative track. RIP Peter. Always loved them.

I think Gary Numan's daughter should have a song of her own where she sings like that, caffeinatedzombeh.
Anyway, this is an interesting one. For me it astounds me that I found my cousin Victor's doppleganger. The judge in this is his uncanny image. The eyes matching so well freak me out. Everything does but the eyes are astoundingly close. I would walk up to him and clap him on the back and just start talking to a total strange if I saw him in the street.
Good song too.

Note how Gray has dropped out now that he has found someone? Don't pull a Monkeysee on us now.
Here is a Volbeat I've heard on the radio-

Apparently, it's been 50 years since the release of Black Sabbath, the first album of Black Sabbath, the band whose records you didn't have to play backwards to hear the satanic messages. And as the critics referred to it at the time, a bunch of bullshit necromancy and the worst the counterculture had to offer. And I don't particularly disagree. At least to me, most of the songs on that album always sounded like something written for edgy teenagers who painted their bedrooms black.
Anyway, long story short, here's their second, far better album with many of their songs that I do like:

Gray's posted a lot of Bombskare but he's not posted this one yet so I reckon I can get away with it.

You might be right, I probably didn't post that one. I've listened to it LOADS, because you can not ignore the brilliance of Bombskare, but I try to limit my pimping here to only about 4-5 songs so I don't wear you out by repeatedly telling you how bloody awesome they are. Oh, by the way, they're bloody awesome. For your own personal happiness and enjoyment, you need to listen to more Bombskare. Now. Do it now!

That's not what I'm doing. Real life has been interfering. Also, love. Yes, ok, you may be onto something, but more than one thing has been happening lately, and it's been taking up too much of my time. Don't worry, I'll still come back to tell you what quality music you need to listen to and why all your opinions are wrong, I'm just... too bloody happy right now. Sorry about that.
Sweet merciful crap, someone else actually remembers InSoc? I'm a massive fan, but usually of their harsher, nerdier, noisier stuff.
I also have loads to say about goth and Type O Negative, but it's late and I have a cold, and I'm tired. I just needed to vent the above before I explode in a mixture of green snot and frustration/excitement. Please don't try to picture that in your head.
[Edit]
Just to add something to this thread, I've been going through all of my old stuff recently, from A to Z, and so far I've only got down to the lower A's. This stood out because it's just so amazingly brilliant.

Noid would approve. And I'm not even down to Autechre yet.
[Edit again]
Love. Yeah. It was a very unexpected thing. I live in a very faraway country, over 1000 miles from home, and to my surprise, for 16 years someone from my home country -and- region have lived just literally around the corner, less than 3 minutes away. We bumped into each other by accident. It feels very weird to speak my home language again, and talk about places we both know, and hear how her weird northern accent matches mine. My age, my country, my home, my region, my accent, my... everything. Literally there, I can even see her house from across the yard. Life is weird. Hours and hours and hours of talking in a language I've not used for 12 years, and in an accent I've not used for 30. And that's not even the weirdest thing, but the rest isn't suitable for a family audience, so just insert a Disney animation of happy bouncing bunnies instead. Let's just say there were a lot of coincidences on a completely implausible scale. I would never believe it if someone told me.

I never got Autechre. I tried but it was too much like rubbing your hand on a taut balloon.
Anyway here is one of my favs from years back I haven't posted-

And here is a more recent one of theirs-

That voice.
Oh and I'm pretty sure I did tell you, Gray.
