I just replayed the first part of ROTB (on expert) again. Wow, what a load of fun :D

Sadly, it's not. I still haven't got all of my voice actors for it. This is kind of putting me at a stand still. I'm starting to wonder if some of the TTS voices would be ok for some of the AIs (the ones that are not too important). The main problem is that the important ones are vital for the storyline and the cut-scenes. The main missions are indeed complete and fully playable, but not all of the hidden missions are quite complete. And by hidden missions I mean actual hidden missions. Another problem is that while I'm waiting for the voice-overs, I'm creating more hidden missions. That Solstice one is getting very close to newdark's limits object wise. The one with "Me" in it is also quite the mission. It has two of the missions from TROTB 1 merged into one with even more stuff.
But if you want to ALPHA test it. Let me know and I'll PM the link to it and the conversation lines so it makes more sense. (Not all of the conversations are correct nor complete.) :thumb:

:mad: Rats! It seems that the v1.23 of newdark in-game (not through DromEd) has that sunlight bug. Now my daytime missions don't effect the light gem. :(
They were fine in v1.22. :erg:

The only solution seems to disable „sun_runtime_obj_shadows“ in cam_ext.cfg. I already told you so. Didn't you get my e-mail?

Oops! Sorry. I didn't get a chance to see the latest e-mail. I was a bit busy. So, that means I've better put that in my info text to make sure that anybody playing this to do so in order to have the daylight missions to work correctly.

Yes, the players need that instruction in order to play the mission in ND 1.23. The problem is: They won't read it and probably they won't understand it. :erg:
I'm not sure if it's a good advice to supply a custom cam_ext.cfg with the mission set.

You can include fm.cfg to override/set specific config vars. Try using sun_runtime_obj_shadows 0 while leaving it enabled in cam_ext. That just worked for me, but I used new_mantle to test disabling config vars because my object shadows are difficult to reach outside of Dromed.
