Curses! More problems!

I have an Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT. I just installed the latest drivers (9.1.3.1) , and now none of the dark engine games I have installed work (TG, T2, SS2). Shock gave me an error saying that the texture memory was being reported inaccurately. Any suggestions?

Post the specifications of your computer including operating system. Otherwise people probably wont try to guess. Surely you read the (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75031) FAQ.

Thanks. I can get Thief 2 and SS2 to work that way, but Thief Gold still gives me an error message with the patch. Is there any other way to fix this?

Also, Deadly Shadows still likes to reboot my computer at random times or give me a BSOD for no apparent reason >.<

Here's my specs:
AMD Athlon 64 2.61 GHZ
2GB RAM
NVIDIA Gefore 6800 GT
Windoze XP Professional SP2
Creative Audigy 4

Do you need any more than that?

it's been a while since i've had a problem with thief. do you have a user.cfg? if not, make one with the line safe_texture_manager.

i vaguely remember that working after the game had been patched.
