There was definitely a remake of Yar's Revenge for the original monochrome Gameboy.

Also, they need to make games now that look and feel all dramatic and cinematic and shinier than heck, but a little weird and flawed the way that old 2600 game covers used to be. Once we get done with our bloom this and anti-alias that, let's get some games that look like shitty 1970's melodramatic oil paintings already.

I remember that, and I still remember the comic that came with Centipede.
