I've done most of the original AI now. The models all follow a few standard formats so for each new object I just change the texture and tweak* the texture mapping.

I also made some ".dml" files to patch the original gamesys (only while playing, see doc\dbmod-sample.dml for info), and the original missions. Dml files don't get applied in Dromed without setting a config var (again, see the sample dml file). It's tempting to enable it to update your own gamesys, but I'm not sure what would happen if you then picked up a body whose limb model was not extracted. It might be best to do it on an archetype by archetype basis.
