What I think is great is how fortunate we are to have such a talented programmer doing this. One doesn't just wake up one day and know how to rebuild a game's engine from scratch. Oh and he has two projects like this, with DarkXL having been in the works for a long time, and both showing good progress. :)

This project intrigues me, I like the look of that last video that was uploaded of Daggerfall at night. I think more retro games should be revamped.
