Oh Simcha himself is probably considered an A-grade asshole & joke among archaeologists, haha, but I mean he's not a real scientist, just a journalist. But by journalist standards I think he's doing a good job of bringing interesting questions to people's attention in interesting ways, and I don't see any reason why there can't be a journalism of ancient history. But it might be better if it were coming from a trained archaeologist, like they have that bevy of working physicists always narrating popular science journalism.
