chis: did you spot the buttons on the back wall to the left of the sarcophagus?
chis on 4/3/2007 at 17:08
Doh! Worked it out now.
Am I the only one that's disappointed that you can't fight the skeleton at the exit? The mission ends before he can react to my last onslaught of mines! :cheeky: I'd like a sequel already! This time with some Blue Oyster Cult, Yandros! ;) (or perhaps King Crimson? "Red" would work...)

Silent:
That's Air, not Earth. Anyway, you need to duck under the first gas trap (crouch and walk under it), then turn left and jump the gap, and finally time your run through the second one so you pass through while it's off.
Twitty's body is in a secret room just north of where you found her red journal by a cave-in. Leave the room where the journal was, and go north to the far wall. Look down and a blue scarab should be glowing on the floor. Crouch and walk into the north wall.
chis: That guy at the end is really a joke, you can't actually kill him. Actually, kind of a pathetic attempt at a Deceptive Perceptions-style ending.

hey! just finished the mission! yeah, i'm good! to be honest, i was a little disappointed:erg: i thought there would be more of a variety in the undead, or more of a mystery-but those
red skeletons
were pretty sweet! oh and the
benny bomb
was my favorite! he was hilarious!:laff: but yeah, it was an okay mission-liked the music and
duke nukem
cool mission!:thumb:
chis on 4/3/2007 at 18:53
It's a good ending Yandros, I liked it. :)
And yeah, throwing a few benny bombs around in the final "arena" with the fake bone king was a LOT of fun.
Pointless post #329858172 - but still, I rarely replay missions at all, but this one was definitely worth it. Hell, I'm even starting to warm to those Maiden samples (god help me) :laff: These guys are better when they don't rock out :cheeky:

Ok, I guess I need it spoon fed to me.
I knocked on the element tiles in the room with Twitty - Fire, Air, Earth, Water - and nothing changed with the alcove on the lower level. I knocked on the element tiles in the rooms with the beetle symbols on the map - Fire, Air, Earch, Water - and no change with the alcove on the lower level. I knocked on the element tiles in the rooms where you actually get the element items, including the water tile in the room with the water maze and the earth tile in the room with the two heavy rocks - Fire, Air, Earth, Water, and no change with the alcove downstairs. What precisely am I supposed to do?
To activate the switch/teleporter in the treasure room, you need to read a riddle thats provided by doing whats below..
To find the second scarab beetle simble, on the 1st lower level... its on the floor in a corner, near a hallway with a window that has iron bars...you have to jump up and through the wall....and read what you find inside...

Sweet, been waiting for this one since, Oh I dunno, Halloween :)
Glad to see you've finished it up Yandros.
I just found a sweet computer and since my old one was all but dead I can play it too. Plus I bought a 1 gig flash drive so I can Dl it :D
Anyway, found a comp at Best Buy, one of those returned cuase something was wrong... athlon dual core 3800, 2 gig ram, 250 mb drive dvd burner. It was returned and sent back to gateway, they said nothing wrong. $350 with xp pro and upgrade to vista. I'm stoked.
this is like 4 times as fast as my old one, so now I can look at building over 350 polys.
