i found the room you see in the little video when you push the button
but i really don't know what to do . In the video you see the plaque move sideways but i cannot find a switch

You have to be quick - the plaque closes after a short while. Push the button again then get back to that room without delay.

It should be a full minute IIRC, plenty of time if you have cleared the path of AI. If you're ghosting, it is of course a bit tricker.

So there is more I've missed? Yandros, would you mind posting a hint? At least what floor I should be looking on?
Incidentally, I personally didn't mind the repetitive scenery - it is a crypt after all - I love dungeon crawling, and the Dark Engine lends itself well to such things. I hope we get a sequel sometime. :)

In order to give a good hint, I need to know what you've found already. Any secrets yet? Any optional objectives?

I think chis is talking about:
Quote:
OK, this has been out a week now, so it's time to ask - has anyone else
danced with the dead? If you have, I'd like to know, but please do NOT provide any explicit directions here, even under spoiler.
edit: Sorry, now I think I probably misunderstood your post, Yandros.
Yandros on 11/3/2007 at 13:16
No, in hindsight you're probably correct and it was I who misunderstand chis' post. We'll just have to wait and see. If my post is indeed what chis was referring to, no hints will be given at this point.
chis on 11/3/2007 at 15:52
Yes, that is what I was referring to, Yandros. I can't be the only one who doesn't even know where to start. Could someone PM me a hint? I don't mean a spoiler, I mean a hint?
Yandros on 11/3/2007 at 17:03
But it's not much of an easter egg if everyone knows how to find it! :cheeky:

Fun, fun, fun. Fantastic gameplay.
Did it first time through on Garrett Nightmare. All secrets, missed some loot.
I really liked the variety possible in this mission. I ghosted for about an hour or more, even taking a peek at the lowest level, before coming on here for a push in the right direction. Reminder to self: when you see a glyph and hear the glyph noise from T3, look for a secret!!!
After that, I crushed some bones on the first level in pursuit of the talismans, and I figured out the map puzzle while ghosting the second level. I wrote more notes on the map than I have in all previous Thiefing.
In addition to the other positive comments here, I also liked the use of the levers and gates to complicate movement through the level. I thought the use of safe havens was great too. And I liked the double bonus with the crown and sword. The one thing I didn't like? The thing at the very end.
Time to try Nightmare Suicidal, I suppose.
