But it's not much of an easter egg if everyone knows how to find it! :cheeky:
On the other hand, an uncrackable egg never did anybody much good. ;) :cheeky:
Yandros on 11/3/2007 at 20:39
True, but since I only just revealed its existence, let's wait a while and see if anyone besides elfranche finds it.

Got it!
Funny dance. Just for how long did you work on that BTW?
Yandros on 12/3/2007 at 01:44
Only took a few days, but I almost had to scrub it due to bugs. Now tell the truth SS, did you cheat and peek in Dromed or did you find it legitimately?

Great mission Yandros! :thumb: Kudos for the use of Steve Roach's music. As a long time fan of his, I've often thought that his music would be great for a FM.

I use his music in most of my missions these days. What Lies Below originally did so, but I changed it to use T3 ambients instead as it seemed to fit better. I also used three of his pieces in the DwtD briefing movie. You're actually close enough to Arizona that you could go to the one or two live performances that he does each year - bit too much of a drive for me.
OK, I'm under duress from inside sources to provide a hint to finding the easter egg, since it's a pretty significant thing (a 3 minute camvator sequence). So here's your one and only hint:
Don't start looking until you start over.
For the record, SinisterShadow confided in me that he 'cheated'. :cheeky:
It's actually impossible to miss the egg if you look at the mission in Dromed... but shame on you if you do that. :nono:

I'm affraid that won't be enough hint for me to find that easter egg.
Finding the secrets was already difficult enough :p.. and I don't know how to use dromEd :eww:
Excellent mission Yandros :thumb:
Great design, some nice relics to take home with, and even though it's primarily focused on combat at first, there's also a good background story to be uncovered.
I love the custom weapons (especially the Benny bomb :wot: :laff:), the atmosphere, the intro, and the extra objectives that can be triggered. Things really started to get interesting after I located Twitty. Too bad I already dealt with the Bone King.
The music was ok, but didn't really fit the mood when reading some of the readables.
Found all secrets and 6260 loot on Easy Peasy difficulty, in 2 hours 51 minutes and 33 seconds.
The skeletons gave me no trouble whatsoever, but that would probably have been another story on Duke Nukem Mode ;).
The only thing I really had trouble with was finding the second scarab symbol, and figuring out the right combination of the symbols as a result.
A few things I noticed:
- the Benny bombs aren't added up in the inventory, but are stored seperately.
- Frequently it happens that some places, where you draw Bronecrusher, light up permanently.
- the explosive arrow needs a fix, just like the vine and gass arrows previously.

How do I get out of here?
I'm up on the balcony. Have given the sword and crown to skeleton in tomb. Tried to blow up wall at bottom of stairs.
Never mind. I KNEW if I finally gave in and posted I would find the answer. After an hour of frustration, I found it just a minute after posting!
What a lot of fun this mission has been! Thank you Yandros.
