Valen reported a similar problem in the german ttlg.de forum. He said, that if you shoot a fire arrow at the gas opening (the one on the left, I think) you die immediately when frobbing the talisman picture (the one behind the placard, not the talisman).

Thanks for that, snowcap. I'll see if I can reproduce that and fix it. Brynolf, I don't suppose you hit the gas jet opening with a fire arrow did you?

I cannot reproduce this problem that way. I did, however, manage to die instantly once when I shot the gas jet (the one that pulses on and off, on the left if you're facing the talisman) with a fire arrow AFTER I had the talisman and the jet was already off. I can't explain that, nor can I reproduce it - it's possible I was hit by flying shrapnel from the arrow, I'm not sure as I didn't have the sound on when it happened and don't know if it was a death by fire or gas.
Brynolf, I hate to suggest it, but if you want to see the rest of the mission, you may try restarting. You can go directly to this room since it's near the start and see if it still happens to you. If you've never gotten the air talisman, then you're missing most of the loot and secrets and nearly half the mission from a gameplay perspective.

As a matter of fact I did hit the gas outlet with a fire arrow at the start of the game. After that a small fire ball remained in the air right were I stood. It remained there and I just went done and completed the main objected at the lowest level. It was when I came back up that I always died at the airsymbol. I guess I'll have start all over again. :thumb:

You could possibly counter that fire ball with a water arrow.

You actually don't have any water arrows in this mission. You find two at one point but need them (although theoretically you could leave that area with them, but if you used them anywhere you'd not be able to get the water talisman).

Yandros, I enjoyed the mission but now when I have tried to download and play Crom's Blade, the first mission screen still shows yours and the mission objectives similarly show yours. I'm not a techie but would appreciate advice from anyone as to which folders/files to look for and tweak or delete to fix this.

BTW, the mission Crom's Blade plays fine. Just the above problems.
