All the loot is pretty much out in the open as I recall, and the majority is in the Scarab Stone room and the true King's chamber. You may have missed 5 coins somewhere, as I recall they are 10 each, and they're easy to miss when they're on the floor.
The egg that bob_doe_nz referred to is only accessible from the starting room. You will have to restart the mission and poke around in there (before you choose play style). It was alluded to a few times earlier in this thread.

I tried this fm a few days ago in Duke Nukem mode and all I could think of was how samey every room looked. Yesterday I played it as Garrett and I hardly gave the surroundings a thought. It had instantly been transformed into captivating FM.

Excellent FM.
Won't criticize map design as readme describes reasons behind it, but artistic design, excellent puzzles, and common style fully make up for lack of varied architecture.
Had tons of pleasure with it playing Duke Nukem style and figuring out the puzzles. Missed 350 of loot and only 1 secret (without any outside hints :sly: ).
Yandros strikes again, another his professionaly made mission :thumb:

Thanks! You should thank the testers who told me not to release the map without the puzzles and secrets, though. I guess it was worth those extra three months of development.

Goddamn testers! Kill 'em all!;)

If I recall correctly, there is a part in this fm when you advance through a corredor, and then a cave-in occures, making it impossible to backtrack. Am I right? If so, how was this effect created in dromed? I had the impression solid brushes simply materialized out of nowhere. Or was this the result of carefully placed teleport traps? Or am I simply completely wrong with all of this?
Yandros on 3/5/2008 at 13:03
The problem with teleport traps is they have an orientation which the player inherits when he's teleported. Using custom scripts, however, I simply shifted the player's location about 100 units without changing their heading etc., moving them into a replica of the location It actually happens twice - when you get to the end of the corridor which isn't caved in, you've already been teleported once... then when you enter the room and the cave-in happens behind you, you're actually teleported back to the main area of the map. I used the same trick in Mask of Agamemnon when Lara causes a column to collapse.

Can someone tell me where to find the entrance to the Scarab Room? I have understood I'll have to hit some things again, but I don 't know where.
Yandros on 4/5/2009 at 23:01
I assume you mean the room with the Scarab Stone.
Hint:
You need to find the lower level map (on Twitty), read the last words of B'irian, which are found on the last page of Dre'bek's journal, and the ancient parchment found in a secret room on the lower level (just past the double gates you have to open). Read them all carefully and consider their meaning together.
Spoiler:
Look at the location of the scarab emblem on the lower map. There are wall placards in all four directions from it which have a faint scarab emblem on them. If you whack these with your mace (or the bonejack if playing on Suicidal), they will cycle through four elements. Set each one to match the final words of B'irian and use the map to match element with its direction: Fire to the east, Air to the north, Earth to the west, and Water to the south. It's easiest to do them in that order, that way you end up next to the teleporter.

Thanks for the help, I aws already wondering what that scarab was...
EDIT: Well, finished it. A really good FM, let's just hope Garrett can handle Bone King's brother...
