Maybe the prostitutes are all vampires, as usual.

Dante's Inferno isn't out yet and I'll be reserving final judgement until I've actually played it, but in all honesty it has never looked hot. Maybe Dead Space was a case of lightning only striking once for this studio?
On a related note, (
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-09-castlevania-lords/54474?type=flv) Castlevania: Lords of Shadow looks awesome. Hopefully that pans out. But on the other hand it's from the studio responsible for Clive Barker's Jericho and American McGee's Scrapland. Only time will tell.

But I liked Clive Barker's Jericho... :(
It always let's me with a taste of meat and guts when I play it. Too many flesh walls in that game.

Awesome setting, great premise. Why do some never look at the possitve aspects. About a Jack the Ripper game, just watched Hellboy, did you guys know Raspoetin wasn't resurrected by the nazi's, even today it's impossible

I'm not sure it's a case of lightning only striking once. DI is, to me, just another unfortunate victim of the kind of adaptation decay we see so often in gaming, and not just in American games. Games have always been under pressure to be HARDCORE for some damn reason.

Who is the audience, Alighieri enthousiasts or gamers. Read the Devine Comedy? if not just shut up and save the princes it has worked for 20 years.
edit : looks like a personal attack, didn't mean it like that. I am in general annoyed by people dismissing something they haven't even tried.

i read it (in italian/german side by side) AND I'm a gamer. I couldn't be more turned off by this game.

Now read it backwards, good for you it's terrible, most of us see a great settin for a game. Hell and all that, hell is cool

I'm holding out plenty of hope for the authentic Italian version. It's going to be the definitive game of the book*!
*Also, I'm calling it. Eventual movie tie-in. Yes sir uh huh.

Dante's Inferno game is to the book as the Starship Troopers movie was to the book.
I very much doubt the Dante's Inferno game will be 100x more awesome than the book it's based off of, like Starship Troopers.
