Love this mission.
I do have a problem, though -- I failed to note where I picked up Sir Talbot's Diaryand so can't finish the mission. I've tried bedroom, office, but no luck. Help?

You have to drop it somewhere in the main bedroom (where the lady sleeps). It was in the desk by the window. But, if I remember correctly, you can leave it anywhere in this room.
