Talk about no context.
Re: evabot's weird out of the blue post, Darksiders 2's been given a spit 'n polish remastering. It's free for people who have the franchise pack, 80% off this week for owners of DS2, and 20% off this week if you don't fit in either bucket.
The port apparently has a lot more spit and a lot less polish on the PC, though. Advance with caution.

Most ppl are reporting that it's crash-tastic ATM, but Nordic are good when it comes to solid patching if Red Faction Guerrilla Steam Edition is anything to go by. The main thing is that it's free for owners of vanilla DS2 + season pass holders.

It is also free for those who have the series on GOG as well. I just got an out-of-the-blue e-mail that I now own it.

Nope, it ain't free for the guys who own DS1/DS2 and the season pass. You need to have bought the 'franchise pack' for that; whether you already bought everything contained within the franchise pack is irrelevant. Apparently Nordic says it's an issue with Steam being able to identify whether you have all the bits and pieces, so they tagged it to the the one SKU instead. That reeks of silliness/bullshit because all they needed to do then was identify DS1/DS2 owners, DLC be damned, but they didn't care enough to. Whatever, you get it at 80% off so it's still not that bad. Let's see how Gunfire Games gets to fixing the issues now.
