See? That's super-gay. Diablo 3 was labeled gay on the sole basis the sun was shining at all.

Time to take your pills Koki. Those voices are speaking to you again.

Diablo 3 was labeled gay because the brightness of the art style was a significant departure from the established art style of the previous two games.
Also: Please stop fagging up GenGaming and/or the internet.

So was Diablo 3.

http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/5933/19947923vl0.jpgJust look at this. It's bright green. And water is yellow. And orange. And the SM's are too bright red. And the Tyranids were wrong shade of blue.
Is there anyone out there not housetrained by dethtoll to notice I might not be entirely serious with this? And that this is, perhaps, a poke at all the basement-dwelling color and light experts from Diablo 3 thread? Doubtful.
Though I must admit, the thing does look quite odd, but I'm willing to blame it on textures looking like... well they don't look like anything to be honest, they're just smears of green

I liked the music in Tyranid gameplay trailer. Hoepfully it's in the final game too :).

No, to be honest we all just thought you were being absolutely fucking stupid.

I have to say, I was quite dissapointed with the Tyranid gameplay footage. Not like Koki by the mere fact that they're a playable race, but more by what that gameplay seemed to be like; and that is: pretty much like the Zerg in SC.
Admittedly, the only real contact with I've had with WH40k is through the original DoW and its add-ons, so I don't necessarily know what playing Nids should feel and look like, but hearing Relic devs say they didn't include them in DoW1 because they couldn't do them justice made me expect something quite different. That gameplay vid doesn't seem to show anything majorly different, though.
How is it Relic couldn't include what they've shown in that video in DoW1?
This question isn't meant to be accusatory, btw, but I really don't understand Relic's position here.
Matthew on 21/8/2008 at 10:21
Wasn't it more that they felt the DoW engine couldn't handle the sort of animation they wanted to use for 'Nids?
N'Al on 21/8/2008 at 10:27
But, again, how could DoW1 not have handled what can be seen in that video? I dun giddit. :(

Sorry, I'm no coder so I have no idea.
