It's pretty simple, if you haven't played a game, then you'll never be in any position to judge it. Your opinion on the subject is entirely meritless.
Pro-tip:- Next time think before you hit submit. You could've saved yourself a lot of face. From the current perspective, all I see is a moron, sorry.
Try harder to not sound butt hurt about it. :(
Sorry I'm just wondering why people like a game that is essentially a hallway of predictably scripted encounters.

Well, gee, I guess you didn't like just about every other shooter ever made either, huh.
Digital Nightfall on 26/1/2011 at 17:54
Well, I like the atmosphere. And the predictably scripted encounters are entertaining. :)

It can still be a well made hallway of scripted encounters. Basically you're describing the genre, not the quality of the game, and it's obviously not the genre for you.

Just a little FYI since discussion has migrated here from the other thread. New Game+ is not difficulty locked - you get a difficulty selection upon loading it up.

RPS's first article on the game after (N-A) release: (

The comments reflect my opinion for the most part. :erg:
And I can't believe the vsync issue is still around. Are EA really that fucking thick? Guess a broken product coming from a broken publisher will only get so much money from me.
gunsmoke on 27/1/2011 at 17:14
It's not 'broken' in my eyes. I simply told Nvidia control panel to force Vsync automatically when I launch the DS .exe, and then it promptly turns it off as soon as the game is exited. I can think of a good dozen PC titles that barely even ran, THAT'S broken.

And do you think the average joe will know these tricks? Since I am an AMD/ATi user I need to jump through even more hoops than you to get the games properly vsynced. They do feel very responsive with proper vsync (I even need to lower the sensitivity setting in-game.) but this should not be necessary at all, let alone 2 years after this bug was first reported and widely complained about.

That's why we have fucking Google. I don't understand how people can not know to look through Google for help.

ATI Catalyst Control Center does the same thing Bjossi...
