Fair enough. I'm just saying that compared to games like Unreal Tournament the difference between platforms isn't so great with Dead Space.
I guess it doesn't matter anyway. The copy I had was pirated; I just wanted to see how it ran, and I eventually went with the Xbox version because my TV has a better quality picture than my laptop LCD.

DS looked great on my CRT.

It looked pretty good on my LCD, but the TV is a 46" projection CRT, and therefore has a better contrast ratio, which helps when playing the game in the dark (pretty much the only time I ever played it was late at night).

Me too. I took a 21' CRT from home to work (the only place I had access to a beefy enough PC to play it), because my TFT at work wasn't really high quality. Both that and BioShock looked ace.

That reminds me, you want to just bring that monitor down next month after my classes are over?

That does look pretty cool, but I kind of had to groan at the bit where the chick drops her helmet and the camera stops to look while she bends over.

And good news was writ on the internets: Dead Space 2 is (
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/dead-space-2-almost-in-production) near the end of pre-production.
I didn't know they even had a Dead Space 2 planned, so to hear it's entering the production stage is doubly awesome. More limb-hacking, eye-twitching terror for everyone! You win! HOO WHEE

Oh cool. Dead Space was a happy suprise for me last year; here's hoping they up the ante.

I heard the Wii game is actually VERY good.
