I heard the Wii game is actually VERY good.
That maybe so, but it's still a 6 hour long rail shooter that costs $50 USD. True it's longer than most rail shooters, but it still is one. Exclusively a rental or bargain bin title in my books.

Oh, I wasn't arguing its value or anything, I was simply stating that several sources of mine have been really surprised by this one. Regardless of when you get it or for how much.

I look forward to playing this. BTW, the PC controls were awesome, the pin point precision and movement speed shat all over gamepad usage.

Yeah, totally stoked about the Event Horizon sequel. The first one had the best movie explanation of a worm hole ever. Onward, to the black hole generator, FOR GREAT SCIENCE
BTW, shame they didn't say anything about Dead Space 2.
Edit: Aww, Eva, you had to go and ninja edit your post. Mine looks all schizophrenic now.

Most definitely. I tried playing it with my 360 pad, and couldn't hit crap for shit. About a quarter of the way through, I switched to the mouse, and found the game to be alot more fun from that point on.

Oh that's crazy awesome. Definitely gonna pick this up; Dead Space is fucking solid, even on a replay.

Thing is, the trendy thing these days is to make each sequel more extreme than the last one.
So how are they going to make the gore of Dead Space 2 more intense than the first one? will that even be possible?
