So, you agree with my opinion on the PC sequel's fate?
Absolutely, but I'm saying it is in no way whatsoever different from the first. The first game was a shoddy, bare-bones port with no further support, and I expect the sequel to be more of the same.

What? Even things as basic as mouse sensitivity were completely fucked. I had to force Vsync on using my driver software just to play with a decent sensitivity.
A lot of people had mouse issues, and a lot of people (me included) didn't. It certainly wasn't a universal issue; when it worked, it worked perfectly.

That all describes Dead Space perfectly. A port for a console game, with no patch support.
Did Dead Space (the console version) even
get a patch? The PC version had no issues whatsoever outside of the mouse problem, which, as we have established, is not universal and I would assume in most cases was worked around.

Not that I am aware of, I played on PC but own a PS3 and have access to everything on PSN. I'm pretty sure all they got was the DLC that the PC didn't.

What issues are you guys talking about? I got the PS3 version and it's as solid as can be, usually ps3 versions of games have poor performance when compared to the xbox, nothing of that here, smooth as silk.

Aside from the mouse thing, there are none. As you would've noticed if you'd read more than every third word.

Patch usually fixes issues.

Congratulations, you've passed Software 101. What's your point?

Well why would the console version 'even get a patch' if there are no issues. So then uncle Fragony thinks 'what is wrong with the console version?'
Capice?

PS3 version had some tiny issues like vanishing level geometry and once I managed to fall off the tram leading to the communications array (but that was awesome). Also there's a well known bug where sometimes you start a new impossible run with a military suit which happened to me.
Sloppy, but not game-breaking. I do hope the PC port for DS2 is an eventuality since the multiplayer sounds like it'll be great. L4D in space.
I didn't see this old news brought up but it's pretty relevant:
