Heck come to think of it I once fell through the floor as well, also the tram. Have bad news for you by the way if you are expecting a pc-port of Dead Space 2 by the way, probably won't get any.

I'm pretty sure they're not starting over from scratch with the engine for the console versions, so porting to PC should be pretty smooth and non-hacky.
Cool. Sometimes this format distorts certain 'meaning' to statements. Glad we sorted it.

Absolutely, but I'm saying it is in no way whatsoever different from the first. The first game was a shoddy, bare-bones port with no further support, and I expect the sequel to be more of the same.
Good point.

Well why would the console version 'even get a patch' if there are no issues. So then uncle Fragony thinks 'what is wrong with the console version?'
Capice?
I think you're just reinforcing the point that is trying to be made, you just don't understand what is actually being said.
The PC port had no patch, so people are saying the pc port had no support.
but it ran just fine, the only bug was the vsync issue. And apparently the console versions ran just fine as well and didn't get a patch. So how can we be sure that support for the PC port was lacking (compared to the console support) when the console didn't get a patch either?

And I only asked about issues with the console version as when someone mentions patches you think about issues, especially when you cry out 'did the console version get any patches?' you assume there is a common problem in all versions. So, I ask what the issues are because I didn't have any and was surprised to hear the game might have issues that need a patch. This is a game forum after all, you ask questions about games.

Ah, a glimmer of hope. Excellent. Thanks, dethtoll.

God you're dumb. I asked if the console version even got any patches because the PC version never did, in response to catbarf's predictable crying about shoddy ports and afhdlkafjsd;lfkjad;slfa VA already went over this already, why don't you just read what is being said instead of just bleating the same goddamn "I cannot understand basic concepts" over and over.

Mouse sensitivity was tied to frame rate. Higher frame rate, lower mouse responsiveness. That's not just a bug, that a fundamental design error, and it's one that pc developers solved over a decade ago. Something like this getting through is either negligence or incompetence, or both.
The workarounds were charming, to say the least. Menus get borked if you turn on vsync, so you turn it off. Of course, then your framerate changes and your mouse sensitivity does with it. Leaving you to install hacked drivers to put in a driver side framerate cap. Only windows 7 won't let you install unsigned drivers, like the hacked ones. Unless you disable UAC, but once you're turning off major security features of your OS to get something running, you're way, way past workaround and into act of desperation.
Wasn't a bad game, all things considered, but the issues I encountered with the first one - combined with the knowledge that they did not fix issues they were aware of in the first one - means it's hard to look forward to a pc version of the sequel.

I can't be bothered to read entire threads for a very minor question, and I certainly don't have the time to trace back the steps in your thought process. Don't expect to find all that much.

Except when it is explained to you, you just tilt your head and continue to give a blank stare. There's no point in trying to explain anything to you because you're too goddamn dense to even grasp the most basic of concepts even when they are presented in the simplest of English.

Can you two not fag up every thread you post in together please?
