I've had problems with the ammo system.
When I had the ripper in my inventory, about 3/4 of the ammo I would find would be ripper blades, which would foce me to rely more on ripper blades which in turn would increase the amount of ripper ammo scattered around!

That came in handy for me. I had the line gun in my inventory and never used it, which meant I had plenty of LG ammo for the later stages of the game where it became useful.

Just sell the ammo you don't need and buy a pack for another weapon, or whatever you want ... like power nodes or something. This is pretty much what shops are for.

One interesting spoiler that's out in the open in the game is the chapter titles: the first letter of each spell something out:
New Arrivals
Intensive Care
Course Correction
Obliteration Imminent
Lethal Devotion
Environmental Hazard
Into the Void
Search and Rescue
Dead on Arrival
End of Days
Alternate Solutions
Dead Space

Vraptor thats Awesome! I didn't pick up on that.
I think dethtoll said it best when he said this game is up to shenanigans.
TBH. i know its a little soon. and this game wasn't perfect. but i'm sure as hell enjoying the experience of it. with the comics, movie (kinda), no known survivors website and the game as a package its quite immersing I think... anyway. EA says in there little art book that came with the game that they want to take this IP further than the game, and that they care about its universe. SO that could mean more content in the future, more movies and comics and another game perhaps? I"ll be excited for that when they start talking about it. Aside from the fagtastic DLC for the consoles that you have to pay for and that the PC doesn't get.

I just tried the Dismemberment Demo for 360, the movement speed whilst aiming felt identical to the mouse controls.
