They're bigger than they'd be on the exbawx. As in, more than a couple rooms.

Apparently, it will be first-person as well.

Don't you wipe it sometimes, at least? :wot:
The 1st person view is what someone called for here, so it might be actually interesting.

So basically House of the Dismembered Dead? I'll pass.

Has anyone played that new House of the Dead game? Forsome reason, reviewers are calling it a revolution for rail-shooters.

There's nothing revolutionary about a tired arcade genre game, ripping off Tarantino, who in turn rips off old B movies and cult cinema.
If anything Capcom's old Gun Survivor series for PS1/PS2 is more daring, since they're lightgun shooters trying to be adventure games. I played through Resident Evil: Gun Survivor 1 for PS1 year ago, it wasn't too bad for a rental. Bizarrely they removed lightgun support from the US version, but it was left intact for the PAL release.

Just finished up this game, I thought it was very well done and lots of fun. This game felt WAY more like System Shock than Bioshock or Doom3 ever did. I don't often replay games, but I could definitely see firing this one up again six months from now.
Small point: I thought it was cool how they didn't make your original weapon obsolete after the first few levels. Usually, they give you a useless pistol or weak energy weapon to get started, and you end up moving on to machine guns and rocket launchers and leave it behind. That part too, I thought it was good that there was no overwhelming BFG type weapon, it kept some of that "survival" feel last throughout the entire game.
A true sequel would be great, not this House of the Dead nonsense though.
