You're really, really trying to get cease-and-desisted, aren't you?
Why would you think that? If you read the info you will see the site is dedicated to UC / Dark MOD & Thief.

Well, let's see.
Hmmm. So opening the front page, what do I see? A BIG banner telling me that I'm about to enter "Unforseen consequences" A Thief inspired DARK MOD project.
Now I enter the next level of the site and what do I see there? Again a big banner with T3 assets and again "A Thief inspired DARK MOD project" plastered all over it. Oh, yeah. And in the smallprint we can see that it actually is about Thief AND Dark Mod community.
Now, when I look at this as a lawyer I would get this impression. Somebody is using actual Thief graphics and assets to create his own project from out of it. If I'm a very generous lawyer I could assume that it might be a legal Thief TDS FM, until I learn what Dark Mod actually is.
Well, it's your site, you can do whatever you want. At least it might give a good case study wether Eidos actually goes for it's IP and how protective they are about it. At least this is a self-sacrificing and self-denying act on behalf of all the others of the community, who may fall in the same trap in case something happens. :)

It depends how stupid Eidos are. They may well have the right to C&D such use of their assets, but suing your own fan base is not a good long term strategy.

You've made some good points and we are changing the site to remove T3 assets in favour of dark mod assets.

A new version of the site is up which does not use any Thief assets. Special thanks to God is my Gold Fish for the header image.

This would be true for ALL game companies, but obviously it doesn't count enough to NOT do it. It has been done and it will be done. Wether it will be done on this project nobody can say beforehand.

Hopefully not at all now since no reference to thief exists on the site or project only a "thief inspired" slogan.

Yeah. You can only do so much, but of course it is not a good idea to make yourself a target more than you need to. :) I think with the current site the risk is much lower than before.
Of course, a lawyer can always sue, because the fact that somebody sues has nothing to do with the actual facts. I can always go to court and claim that my neighbour owes me money, but I would get in trouble as soon as I have to proove it. Unfortunately as it is, with games, most developers bail out before a proove, because there is already enough money involved. So even if the corporate lawyer has no rights, it's hard to proove it, because you need to spend the money first.

Last night we completed the story detail for the first 3 missions and we think they are really good. With a quarter of the campaign's little details now worked out we feel we are ready to begin the early stages of mapping out the architecture and layout of the first section of the campaign's missions.
As such we are now beginning a concerted drive to recruit the best mappers around to help bring the story into the game.
We have created a thread in our forums which you can post in if you are interested, so please don't be shy!

I've a few TIII-textures right here, I'll start right away with a first map.
