Of course it's impossible to identify the problem without a test mission to diagnose. Could be--
Toggled lit objects in DromEd.
Self-illumination set within the model itself.
Object set to render unlit.
Object given some goofy blend mode.
Object has extra light.
Object picking up lighting from somewhere non-obvious.
You keep posting screenshots as PNGs.

Well, for some reason, they were set to render at 'unlit.' Strange that no other objects I've ever made did that. Oh, well. Thanks, ZB.
So what's the issue with the .PNG format?

In fact you can use Render-->Bitmap Worldspace.
For decals i use another method: here the decal is object with model. In "shape" i put the name of a texture which is in "Bitmap" folder, and with the option "Bitmap Woldspace" you can edit the size (x-y size and x-y feet per tile), and with Flag you can modify the rending of the image (Double sided, Flip Backside UV, Lit, Face camera, No UV Tiling). Put "Lit" and it will be correct.

Seriously? They make the screenshot files roughly ten times larger than JPGs, for no discernible increase in quality. A thread full of PNG screenshots is pretty much guaranteed to give everyone dialup flashbacks.

That's good to know. So like a corona, but up against a wall? Double sided for up against glass?

It's one shot, ZB. But I'll be sure and post only JPGs from now on. ;)

Yes.
I think that i will write a tutorial with some potentials to using the bitmaps options and the using of textures like objects.

I write a "introduction to the decals". It's not very complex.
