Gah ! Both those missions were just too scary ! :wot: Makes the old Bone Hoard seem like a nice pleasant place. Good job scaring the crud out of me :thumb:

Just so people know John D has released the new and improved version of
Deep Trouble 2. It's at (where else?) thiefmissions.com.
Might be slightly off-topic, not sure (not to bluster or brag either), John asked me to some slight touchup work on a few of his awesome skins from DT2. Skin work is one of my favorite hobbies, so I said yes, though I could hardly believe it was actually him asking me . Anyway, it was quite an honor!
So...in conclusion...three things:
1. New version of Deep Trouble, no minor update, either. A recommended download.
2. As before great mission; thanks John! I'm still playing Nasty Surprise. Better than before, I say!
3. Personal--Thanks John for giving me the opportunity to help you, however small the contribution may or may not be! Again, It was a great honor

I'm replaying this one -- rather, I'm playing the new release of this one, having played the previous one, uh, previously -- and I have an objective this time I don't remember from the last time: "What is so terrible to make someone do such a thing?! See if you can find where they took the kids to discover what happened to them....."
Now, I vaguely remember actually finding this place the last time I played, though I don't think I read the readable that gave me that objective. But this time, I haven't a sodding clue where it could be. I've been what feels like all over the undersea city; I've completed all the other objectives; I'm dodging the combat between the Mech rescuers and the Sisterhood; where is that mumbledy-mumble, blankety-blank-blank nursery?
Right now, I'm parked in the old section, where you can enter the water near the disabled escape pod with the arrows in it. Directions from here would be lovely!
Thanks,
Dafydd

The second mission in this version has been changed a great deal. The architecture is quite different in some areas and there are added objectives. The one about the children is one of them. You're a long way away, Dafydd.
The area with the children is quite close to the big circular hallways where you find the Chapel and the entrance to Mother's core. It's off of the corridor that you follow from there to get to the Mall.
:grr: Seriously, what the sh*t?! I've gone back and forth more times than I can count and I can't find Hunday. I don't even have a clue how to find his quarters.
Give hints, please (if possible), no spoilers. I'm already ashamed enough as it is.

His office is in the same place as last time.
Close to the main mall.
You know what, forget what I said about spoilers. I have searched every inch in and around the mall. Nothing. Landmarks, please??!! I never had this much trouble last time; no clue why. :nono:
metal dawn on 12/5/2005 at 03:35
Forget it, Nightwalker. I found him. I'm sorry for the trouble. I knew it was in the mall all along, but I didn't hard hard (or should I say high) enough.

It is done! Whoa! It was even more tense and exciting than before. Amazing new changes, scares, enemies, and--best of all--a great new touch to the end sequence. Sheer brilliance, through and through. How DOES this guy do it? :)

Finished; thanks, Nightwalker. But I'm not quite sure what Metal Dawn means by "the end sequence"... does he just mean the objective I was fretting about, or was there supposed to be an outro video?
