Metal Dawn, after reading your post, I tried that; but I couldn't get the lich to come over to a doorway and stand there so I could lean around and hack at him! He kept pushing into the doorway... which meant that
when he blew up, I blew up right alongside him.
It doesn't have to be a doorway, using the columns by the stairs works fine, too.

I got version 2, and it crashed hard when I went to pickup the priest down stairs. It definately needs more debugging. I had to delete it off my hd as its not ready to be played yet. Please hurry and get it fixed and then release a playable version. It looks good and I enjoyed what little I saw very much. I can not wait to actually play through the whole level. You did a great job, it just needs a bit of work. Hurry! I can not wait very long.. :o)

So am I right in saying that the last objective re the scepter is not attainable and the objective remains uncompleted? The mission does not end by itself and must be assumed completed when all other objectives are met?

Yeah, you could say that, but the loot and weapon objective can be completed early enough in the mission so I wouldn't consider the mission complete until you have at least gotten into the room where the sceptre is supposed to be.

The skull-faced A-bomb can be killed with holy water arrows from a distance. Let it get near the winged skull head before attacking so he gets taken out in the blast as well.
The game would crash for me if I picked up either of the two priests or the stationary mummy and tried to drop them (no carry pic for those three). That mummy can be picked up dead or alive.

Don't know if it matter's but looked in the zip, and within the mesh folder there's a couple of the "dahamma" models that call for file hamsolo1.gif and hamsolo2.gif. Neither of these are in the mesh\txt16 folder(used a hex editor on the .bins). So I copied them from my own thief2\mesh\txt16 and placed them in the zip mesh\txt16 folder to see if that would corect the cdt I get. No time to test though, gotta go to work.

I guess that is what was causing the crashes. The model, when implemented, was completely textureless since it didn't have any of those skins in it. I had to take most of them from the T2 directory and replace them. I did a bit of hex editing to fix it but only the original T2 skins worked with them.
