VA, if you guys are running XP and Vista, and you know the IP address of the machine that's hosting, there's really no logical reason for UDP not to work unless it's being filtered somewhere, either by the VPN software or via firewall on one PC or the other. I'd fire up netstat on the machine that's acting as the host, and see if the connections from the other machine are even getting there.
