But then you'd need to find a monkey and teach it to play.
I wonder if anyone has tried a LAN party with monkeys yet.

Honestly they'd be better than most of the shitheads I've met in pub games.

I worry that I'd buy it, but it'd play me.

I think I am going to go with an Xbox or a PC. Either way, same games.
San Andreas
Arx Fatalis
Thief Deadly Shadows

good to see a man with love for SA

Oh GAWD yeah. It is the greatest sandbox game ever. I highly doubt anything will ever top it either. Only way to improve upon it, is to add in Vice City's radio stations in addition to SA's.

I could talk for hours about SA, but instead of that, did you ever try the unofficial SA multiplayer mod? There is still a huge community involved in it, with numerous servers with 1000's of people on em. You got free roam servers, rpg servers, zombie apocalpyse etc.

Those unofficial MP servers look wild. I played through SA ages ago but I can't find my disc now. I'll have to pick it up on Steam next time it goes dirt cheap. I'm kicking myself for not grabbing it last time.

actually, I dont think that will work, to be able to run the Samp mod, the version of San Andreas must be 1.0, not the 2.0 which cancelled out the hot coffee thingy. There is a program around which will downgrade the dvd version back to 1.0, but I have a feeling it wont work for the Steam version of the game.
