PS3
Dungeon Maker 2 - Technically a PS2 title but I'll be sure to pack one with the ability to play them. Provided it isn't cheating this is one of my favorite sandbox games ever.
Unless there's a port or PSN release that I'm not aware of, thats a psp game not a ps2 one. Damn good game too.
Anyways. My 3 would be:
PC:
(and I'd love to say emulator and choose 3 here but I'll play nice)
* Fallout 3 + all of the DLC. Cause you can lose yourself in this game for months. Would give me something to do while I waited for rescue.
* Mass Effect 2. Same reasons as above, cept that the game would last me 3-4 weeks max. But a good 3-4 weeks.
* Doom 2 with all of the really good TCs and wad releases in there. So many damn fine good wad releases for Doom 2 that that would keep me busy for quite some time.

actually, I dont think that will work, to be able to run the Samp mod, the version of San Andreas must be 1.0, not the 2.0 which cancelled out the hot coffee thingy. There is a program around which will downgrade the dvd version back to 1.0, but I have a feeling it wont work for the Steam version of the game.
I have the 1.0 version on PC-DVD in addition to 1.0 on Xbox.
I should try that MP mod. If I get it running, maybe we could go meet up on a server together? Let me know if you are interested, and then I'll post some info in the multiplayer meetup thread to try and grab some more of the KRU.

Half-Life 1 + expansions + lots and lots of single player mods and total conversions. The classic HL1 gameplay does not get old soon and there is such a huge amount of quality single player content available. I mean stuff like Afraid of Monsters, They Hunger, Paranoia, and many others.
The Orange Box - HL2, the Episodes, Portal and Team Fortress 2 will keep me busy for a long time.
Unreal Tournament '99 + a lot of custom maps and all the available single player mods - Still the most fun UT for me, I can play online multiplayer and botmatches and play some single player mods like Operation Na Pali.

Interesting choices, Harvester. Though I agree that you picked three games that will last WAY longer than more, they are all FPSs...won't you tire of that and want a genre change eventually? I don't know your playing habits very well, but you don't ever mix up your game playing rotation and throw an RPG, adventure game, or puzzler in there? If so, won't you regret not throwing one in the mix?

Good point, hadn't really considered that. I might throw in an RPG with multiplayer capabilities (maybe World of Warcraft, there's a lot of stuff to do in that game) in the mix, or maybe a racing game or RTS with online play.
While I like adventure games, I wouldn't choose one of those, because even a long adventure game like The Longest Journey only lasts like 30 hours or something, and adventure games don't have multiplayer or mods, and little replay value.
