I don't know if this has been posted before but....
I was playing thief 2, mission 2 - the one in the warehouse district.
I was just messing around with crates, and I carried one into the main office in building A (the office next to the room with the 4 digit operating machine in)
There's a piece of loot on a small table, its like a vase type thing.
I chucked a crate at it 2 or 3 times and the piece of loot smashed and just disappeared.
Don't know if anyone else has done this before?

Yeah, I think you can actually destroy some of the loot in Thief 2. I remember doing a similar thing once or twice.

I was waiting for someone to mention this. I don't completely consider it a bug, per se. I actually think of it as more of a feature...to a point (after all, your loot should be treated with).
Play
(http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95113&highlight=rift+loot) A Rift in the Loot (by Gregorius, I believe).
:)
You can effectively break the mission by
destroying the Gold Vase at the very end. The big gold one the Hammers use to lure Garrett in.

True, but if breaking loot makes the game impossible to finish, the game should note this and end the mission with a failure.
