Im restarting this cause - i dont know about everyone else - i hate going through more than one page.
I just thought of what it DX2 might be.
JC's parents died in a car crash, right? Doesnt that seem a bit too convient? Maybe the parents were killed so they could test the augmentation on Paul and JC. And some other stuff to turn it into a playable game. Just a thought.

I got the impression that was just a made-up story for the benefit of J.C. and Paul. They actually had no parents, who they thought were their parents were just members of MJ12 posing as parents.

Since Paul and JC are artificially made lifeforms, they obiously don't have any biological parents. And we know that MJ12 killed the people who served as parents for them, in Area 51, Bob Page sends the MiB who did the job up on an elevator to kill JC (he says this specifically).

First you should have posted it under Deus Ex 2, cause it would be easier to go back and look at out ideas. But anyways,
Bob Page tells you near the end that he is sending up the man who killed your parents. Though he was just a MIB, i beleive that the "parents" really just adopted JC and Paul and this is how they're recieved as parents. Adopting really doesnt mean they arnt their parents anyway, and both JC and Paul knew this as they say somewhere near the start.
