Red Faction engine (if possible). The GeoMod would add a lot of realism and interactivity.
As to the story I agree with frozeman.

Yes yes. The Red Faction engine looks BADASS!
However - it looks like Red Faction itself is like HL in gameplay.

I too like to look of the Red Faction engine. It also has some nice AI. The only problem i can see is that it might give too much freedom to the player.
I (as i posted in the other Deus Ex 2 thread) would really like to use Pistols and Uzi's akimbo. Man that would be cool.
I would also like to maybe (depending on which character you end up playing {if we play as JC, just forget this}) have the ability to jump inside of a small Mech, (or should that be Gear?) to roam around the city.

Everyone listen up please.
For a good shooter that uses both FPS view and you can switch to 3rd person view, and is simply filled with tons of action, and has both Mecha and simply person controls is......are you all ready.....
Shogo: Mobile Armor Division
It used the Lithtech 1.0 engine and simply kicked arse. I still play through it every once in awhile, and it has a nice anime touch to it. You can't get it at any stores, but you can still order it online at

I've got one you've got to safe a giant SPIDER that the illumiati created only it was a counter conspiracy and all spiders are in on it. Serriously they will have at least two spider enimies in it. Give us spiders or give us death.

I also love Shogo, that was a really awsome game!
As for DX2 i would like to see some levels at some more diverse locations. How about a level where you up on a spacestation, and you're chasing someone through a habitat (if you've scene Lost in Space you'll know what i'm talking about
